- The Herbs are standardized in compliance with H.P.I. by the help of hi-grade technology implementation and sophisticated instruments. All the raw materials first enter the Raw- Material store (The Red Label area) which is not to be used for production until thoroughly tested for purity. The sample of each- and- every herb passes through stringent
quality control tests done by Dr. Sarkar Allen Institute Pvt. Ltd. before entering the Production department (Green label area).
- The herbs are then macerated in double distilled Rectified spirit and De-mineralized water for 2-4 weeks as per H.P.I. reference.
- The macerated residue is pressed by Hydraulic presses to ensure optimum extraction of the part used. The stainless steel Hydraulic Press is designed with different gadget systems for maintaining exact pressure control required by different herbs to obtain maximum bio-availability of the ingredients and optimum therapeutic concentration.
- Mother tinctures are then carefully tested for the following parameters: Colour, odour, taste, transparency, pH, weight per ml, Alcohol %, Total solid content, Microbial count, UV spectrphotometry, Chemical analysis and Thin Layer Chromatography(T.L.C.).The Time Stability of the product is then carefully analyzed, which is one of the main strength of Allen’s products.
- The mother Tincture is filtered using best quality filter paper (Whatman) to ensure minimum sedimentation rate.
- Glass equipments like Bottles, tubes, micropipettes etc. are sterilized by cleaning at first with demineralised water and then drying in oven at 150 degree centigrade for one hour before use.
The whole process is done under a pollution free G.M.P. compliant environment to ensure a quality that is supreme in efficacy. The Dilutions prepared from Mother Tinctures of this quality is of highest therapeutic value and can be trusted upon.
